Interestingly enough, this description somewhat resembles one
given in UFO researcher Raymond Fowler's book "The Watchers II",
about the experiences of Betty Luca.  In chapter 9, Betty Luca
undergoes a regression where she describes an "abduction" of the
entire car in which she and Bob are driving home from a movie.
Bob is apparently put into some sort of trance-like state,
unaware of the incident.

But Betty remains conscious after a fashion, enough to observe
what's happening.  The car is taken to a "room" somewhere (where
there's also a rusty green van - perhaps left over from another
abduction).  Then some "gray beings" start climbing all over the
car.  But they are driven away by the sudden appearance of an
"elder" (a tall blonde-haired being) accompanied by five "good"
gray beings.  Then, in a flash of light, Betty and Bob find
themselves back on the road home, but apparently having suffered
missing time.

Anyway, the general scenario is the same:  the abductees are
saved when a tall, angelic "good guy" arrives to deal with the
"bad guys". Almost makes you wonder if the "wild west" extends
into multiple dimensions!  What's that old quote about the
universe being stranger than we can even imagine?
