Hmm... that is an interesting point of view. Let me see: 50, 40, 30 and 20 years ago: 1. WE had aerial vehicles of capabilities that would make modern avionics look like tricycles; 2. The WE has multiple personalities: the Americans had it, the British had it, the French had it. The only ones who seem not to have it are the guys from Belgium. That is quite understandable. NATO members in 1990 didn't have this 'need-to-know' clearance; 3. For more than 50, years multi-billion $ efforts to develop other technologies all over the world by different nations was just a prank played on credulous Ufologists; 4. Of course, you are the only person aware of this. Other intelligence agencies from other countries (who BTW do have the technology) caught the UFO bait. This is the perfect setup. 5. Phew, aliens are... irrelevant. All you paranoids should have known better, as Alienology is quite benign. Orson Wells has proven that with his 'War of the Worlds' broadcast. A couple of religious groups have also emphasized the harmlessness of the concept. It would be much more socially destabilizing to learn that we have atmospheric vehicles capable of getting us from New York to Paris in 15 minutes.
