Subject: Tim Matthew's - Ruining Ufology?

Tim,

Your recent posting (rant) was quite a good one this time.  I
enjoy having a good chuckle now and then.

Why do you keep insisting on posting so many back-biting and
attacking messages?  You are making ufology look like more of a
laughing stock than the house of commons!!  We should all be
working together to find the ultimate truth and NOT fighting with
each other.

Now to address the points as I see and know them:- The recent
Midlands talk that Eric did.  Irene definitely did not discourage
two organisers from booking him.  After hearing the guy speak
then I really wish she HAD tried to discourage him from speaking
there.  The evening started out ok and the Welsh case details
were put over quite well, but the 2nd half with the question and
answer session simply degenerated into Eric Morris's ranting
hour!  He basically slagged off everything he wasn't connected
with from magazines to research.  Oh I liked the fact that the
"glossies" didn't get their facts right and were "garbage" and
Eric's forthcoming new magazine project was the only one that
will have the truth in it!  A little presumptuous there Eric!!
Didn't he realise that there were people there who were new to
ufology and his rantings and attacks would be putting them off
from getting involved?  Or was it that he simply did not care???
A really professional attitude there Eric................NOT!!!

You talk of people running and demanding money for their work.
Didn't you say in one of your recent rants that you approached
the organisers of the Cornwall conference and then asked for
money?  I can just imagine it now....."yes Mr Gillham, I'll speak
for you.........but it'll cost ya!!".
You are obviously totally pissed at the fact that you have only
got 2000 for your forthcoming book.  It certainly sounds that way
from what Eric Morris was ranting about at the mentioned Midlands
talk where he told everyone.

So Irene sticks her nose into everything does she?  Isn't that
the role of a researcher?  I don't know any researchers that just
sit around and have all the facts simply brought to them on a
platter.  Do you???

Nick Pope.  Why do you keep bringing him into all of this?  Has
he attacked you?  Or are you just on a roll and though you'd go
for Nick P as well?

Irene as an agent?  That's a new one.  I've approached Irene
before to ask for a list of addresses of people who have spoken
at her group before. Never once has she asked to be my agent.
Shall I tell you why? It's because she doesn't approach people,
that's why. All she does is give that list out to anyone who
asks for it. A list, I may add, that you specifically asked for
your name to be removed from (that you weren't even on in the
first place). Why would you do that when you so desperately want
your research so widely known?

We're interested in stifling non-et UFO research are we?  Well
let me tell you that I'm as interested in secret aircraft/black
budget aircraft as much as non-planetary craft.  Your work in
connection with this may well be very very good but the way you
are being so nasty in your messages is going to put people off
wanting to read it.  You are more or less saying that your
research is the only truth and everyone else who disagrees with
you are wrong and are put onto your hit list.  Who else is on
there?  I don't agree with everything you say so am I now on that
list?  Am I now suddenly talking crap concerning UFO research?

You will not allow any more behind-the-scenes smear campaigns he?
 Well it certainly looks to me as if it's YOU who's starting
them!!

Your final PS note.  Does it mean that you are going to turn up
at the next SUFOG meeting and make yourself look totally
unprofessional?  Why don't you take Irene's advise and save your
petrol money!!!  Maybe you shouldn't advertise where your going
to be at any one time incase any of your "friends" from groups
like the B.N.P. etc who you have obviously upset in the past
greet you rather than the group organisers?  Are you going to do
a re-run of the classic "dragging out of the audience" routine?
Will Eric be there to swear on your behalf??

You really need to look at yourself and your bad attitude and
correct it before absolutely everyone disassociates themselves
from you and you become a complete joke.

You're putting people off from getting involved with research.
They are simply going to follow all your postings and think "I'm
not getting into that crap!!".  Your attacks are ruining further
respected research into this phenomenon.  OK so you think all
these craft sightings are of earthly origins and others think
they come from other planets, so what!!  If we all thought the
same things it would be an extremely boring world.  We are all
individuals and not clones and as such, we all thing differently.
Why don't you just accept this fact of life and carry on with
YOUR research and not try constantly to disrupt others.  You
really need to let others think for themselves rather than
forcing your opinions and suggestions down their throats.  Your
stance should be to present the evidence and let them decide for
themselves.  i.e. talk TO them and NOT AT them.
