Funny thing, you all call yourselves "researchers" and
"ufologists".

On what basis?

First, a little story:


There was a man who worked at the Post Office, whose job it was
to search for any envelopes addressed to Santa. He was called a
"Santologist", and when he first started his job, he was asked by
a local newspaper reporter "Do you believe in Santa Claus?" and
he'd answer - "nah...". But, each year, he would be asked to
tell his favorite story about his favorite letter to Santa at the
Post Office Christmas Party. And year after year, children would
come to the Post Office on Christmas, and he'd dress up as Santa
and they'd bring letters to him and he'd read them, as part of
his public duty. By the time he was nearing retirement, after 45
years, he was so famous at his post office and in his home town,
that all the townspeople threw him a huge bash, presented him
with dozens of gifts, many of them from grown up "children" who'd
sat on his knee during his career, and, it being christmas, the
local postmaster dressed up as Santa and delivered him the gifts
on a Sled. It was a smashing success. When the man was asked by
a local reporter, "So, do you now believe in Santa Claus?" he
answered: "nah...".

The reporter, crestfallen, said "But, after all these years, and
the thousands of children, and searching out all those letters,
and now this, why did you do it?"

To which the man responded, after a few moments:

"Well... It's a living!".

What's troubling me, is that none of you "researchers" and
"ufologists" appear to be drawing a salary!

So what are you doing it for?

I really want to know.
