The acceptance and reliability of all scientific theories rest on
a mosaic of evidence of multiple composition.  As it happens this
is also true in the application of law.

The OJ trial has reconfirmed to the world that a group of
individuals can go nose to nose with a rhinocerous and call it a
cocker spaniel.  That aside, should any member of this list ever
have the misfortune to find themsleves in the docket charged with
murder in the first degree, and the evidence amassed against them
was of similar breadth and scope as that currenlty compiled
around the extraterrestrial hypothesis - they would find
themselves on a one- way gurney ride home.
