Right on, Bob! That's what I said just after I joined this list,
and I got shot down by various big cheeses that reckon they
"know" what's going on.

Not even the Great Phoenix Flap is an uncontested event.
Not one crash/retrieval case has been proved.
Not one abduction can be proven.

Now everybody who's anybody (and I'm sorry about my stance) is
going to be-labour me with the "fact" that they've experienced
something. But what did they in fact experience?

That's why we keep on re-hashing the Extra-Terrestial Hypothesis
(ETH): because we know *nothing*.

Something's happening, that's for sure. But are these diverse
events related? Are the same beings responsible for all, most, or
just some of the events?

How much is Governemnt related?
How much is paranormal?
How much is genuinely ET in origin?

Let's look at facts: most UFO sightings are in or near highly
developed countries, countries with extensive defense budgets and
large air forces.

How many sightings occur in 3rd World countries like India,
Congo, Vietnam, and so on?

Are these 3rd-World sightings maybe not the *real* ET events?

Even the "UFO" that was chased by a Police chopper over Pretoria,
South Africa, last year was almost *certainly* a remotely piloted
drone built by Denel and which is currently available through
your friendly neighbourhood arms dealer.

I want to ask an open question here: what's REALLY happening in
Puerto Rico and other Mid- and South-American states?

I'm off to lurk again.............
