Other's have turned their big ears to the source, have heard and recorded some signaled discourse? This has my attention (!), and so it should -- you! There is LIFE _not_ from here (?), and that's VALUBLE news! But we hear it the least, and it comes from the fringe -- besotted and drunken with rumor, I cringe. And, of course we are prudent for using good science. But use shan't impede a _progressive_ alliance. It shan't hold us back, it's a SLAVE not a Master -- a start, a beginning, _no_ retreat to disaster! We open our arms to *potential*, it's true! And the lives that we've planned could be changed -- or renewed! But open your eyes, and take stock when you dare; it's better you _know_; it's _better_ they're there! Their presence alone would demand our alliance, and push us to SPACE, and a new self reliance. We'd clean up our act, and we'd do the _smart_ thing; no longer alone, we would CARE what *they* think. Moslem and Christian and Heathen, and Jew could all link their arms and would share out a view. Gone -- the derision for women and gays, we find that they're human, more "us" (friend) than "they"! All this dangles -- on a _message_ . . . that's so weak, it can't be heard. It takes a _lot_ of tech equipment, and the software to concur. And _we_ must take the word of, then, the few that _do_ the lookin', and the FEW who say they heard it -- is it real (?), are they rookin'? We can't know (that's you and I), we just wonder while we work. We listen to the worthless news and try to stay alert. The common disrespected, we'd have our right to know what the very FEW have KEPT from us since time began to show. But just *THINK* (!) it's a voice from beyond the old limits! Let's *REJOICE* (!) we're released, as the _old_ way inhibits! We're STRENGTHENED to find out that we're not alone; our metal is tested; we're NOT driven prone. We'll fly to the moons and the asteroid belts; we'll breath up pure star stuff, and learn a NEW health. We'll laugh, and we'll sing; we'll depend on ourselves. We'll find new realities ringing our bells! And the tone could be sweet, and so pure, grand, and strong (!) -- or hollow and empty . . . and futile and wrong! A challenge from voices far _off_ in deep space. A ghost of a whisper that paints a scared face. It's all up to us, and the actions we take. Are we talented humans, or talent-less fakes? We have the accoutrements, do we have what's been needed! Will we waste our potential? Will we stay so conceited? Can we cop to the end of our terrible loneliness; can we wrest from our fear what it takes and withholds from us? All from a voice that may come from deep space? What is our future? I so solemnly swear! I'd likely be his best shot at it, at any rate. This way, he would have _something_, after the jail time, that the legal profession hadn't sucked from his veins. YES!
