Another milestone at the UpDates Archive - this is the
14,000th message.

The message itself is an interesting reflection of recent
discussion in the 'Obergian' thread - the more the 'Subject:'
changes, the more the content stays the same, it seems.

UFO UpDates has come a long way since its days as a small,
sixty-subscriber, Atari-based BBS here in Toronto. I've lost
count of the number of countries represented in the address file
- there's no stat-generation in Eudora. The average number of
'reads', daily, both direct and via the archive must now be in
the many hundreds.

To all posters since the List's inception, my thanks for an
intense educational experience.

That education is now being put to good use on Sunday nights at
11:00 pm on 'Strange Days...Indeed'. The show is carried by CFRB
1010 AM - a 50,000 watts, 'clear-channel' [no other station on
that frequency in North America], that can be tuned, at night,
way down into the Southern United States. It's also available on
shortwave at 6070khz and via RealAudio on the web - live feed
only - at:

Unfortunately - or fortunately, depending on which side of the
mic. you sit - 'SDI' isn't yet being archived as Real Audio. For
most of you most of the content of the early shows will not be
anything new - UFOs-101.
