Hi Tim,

I have watched your comments about the Belgian flap being
critisized on UASR as I was one of those who did the criticism.
I don't want to go on debating on the whole Belgian flap again
as I did so extensively on this list about a year ago. Except
one thing, for your statement that the radar systems were faulty
there exists no evidence whatsoever.

Another thing is that UASR thinks it has the authority to ban
postings from its list that contain information or opinions they
don't like. Of course every moderator has the freedom to censor
his list the way he wants. But it contradicts the principles
that UASR claims it stands for, Alien and Space _Research_.

Research can only be helped by giving everyone the right to vent
his theories and opinions, regardless of the opinions of the
moderator, as long as standards of basic human civility are
respected. By banning Gersten and telling Rense what to do they
are out of line.
