Page 9 lists the 46 nearest stars similar to the sun. The best ever star distance data obtained by the Hipparchos (sp.?) satellite was published within the past year and undoubtedly slightly changes some of the distances in the tables which are derived from the l969 Gliese Catalog of nearby stars.
