My question has always been: What has being a Christian go to do with believing or not believing in UFOs? What is the "closed mindset" got to do with any religion? What so many Fundamentalists of all religions forget, is that these religions were created simply for the people of earth. It has nothing to do with Other Possible worlds... I know that they believe that only GOD and his Angels exist above this earth, and Satan and his Demons below. Yet, this is because the "Church" of the Middle ages instilled this thinking in the Fundamentalist Dogma. It has been passed down from generation to generation, under the "implied" threat that you would be punished if you did not adhere strictly to the "letter of the law." Yet in the middle ages, not only was it a threat, it was as most of us know a reality...the Inquisition, made sure that the people walked the chalk line or suffer the tortures of the Righeous Indignation of the Church... I don't have to mention by name those early Astronomers who were excommunicated from the church until the withdrew their scientific statments, which claimed that the sun was the center of the Universe, which was contrary to the Church belief that the Earth was the Center of the Universe, and all things revolved around it. <G> Today we realize the Sun is the center of it's Solar system...Sun and Planets. How many have suffered at the hands of these Ignorant Sheppards of Humanity because they dared to "explore and expand" the bounds of human knowledge??? So it is to day with all religions and UFOs and the idea the there are other life forms capable of sentient thought existing elsewhere in the universe.... We are still the slaves of the 'Earth Is The Center Of The Universe', theology. REgards, Mike ICQ#:7508455. (502) 683-6811
