Hi John, I enjoyed your note, you are a well-spoken man. Somehow, however, in your surge to judge, you have gone right past the entire point of my website: it is a general news service...and not a platform which reflects or endorses any particular viewpoint over another. Search it and you will find that it presents the views of not only Mr. Heseman and Mr. Meier but equally those of Kal Korff. I have even had Mr. Korff and Mr. Randy Winters debate Mr. Meier on my program. On the website, as even the most casual observer can see, flows a stream of articles which represent diametrically opposed viewpoints on such as the coming Y2K crisis and literally scores of other significant issues. Perhaps you missed my DataPages archives at the bottom of the homepage which contain hundreds upon hundreds of exceedingly diverse opinion and contradictory data. The site purveys a smorgasbord of information designed to, hopefully, stimulate critical thinking. It is an opportunity to exercise and define one's personal intellectual paradigm. Should you not find an article palatable, there is a certain key on your keyboard you may depress to instantly remove it from your mental tv tray. To condemn my website on the grounds you purport would be indentical to condemning this list or any other legitimate forum for the competent free expression of thought, data, and individual opinion. In a general sense, there is probably something on my website to offend most everyone sooner or later. My website is a free-ranging presentation of news and information: from ufology and the paranormal to cancer research and nutrition; from Y2K, our dying environment and the NBC threat to the discovery of extra solar planets and the latest in genetic engineering. If presenting such material makes me 'part of the problem' and a member of the 'hoary hoard' in your world, John, I say 'good luck to you' and urge you to spend your time elsewhere on the net. Furthermore, to refer to the totality of my website and these subjects as 'new folklore' connotes a disturbing, bizarre elitism, and rather frightful state of mentality which leaves one close to a physical shudder in response. Oh, and you are right, I am 'probably fairly rational in real life'... Jeff Rense
