We are currently investigating a case where something very
similar to 'Angel Hair' fell from the sky.  The 'Angel Hair'
would not evaporate with hand contact. But it did disappear from
the environ after 2 days.

The witness collected samples (in '96) and we are currently
analysing them. We already have MEB pictures. We are now trying
to get it's chemical composition.

There are very light and sticky but also look like a stable
material. It would not be altered in vacuum down to 2 10^-6 Mb.
We checked it before putting it in the MEB. It looks like it is
not a conductor and the MEB operator said it has the same
properties as organic material. We still wait for chemical
analysis for more solid information.

MEB showed a spider string like structure (0.1 micro meter
diameter) but associated in thick bundles which are then
visible. Filaments have regular and circular sections, surface
looked smooth.

A particularly unusual phenomen that the witness reported was
the presence of an unconventional rainbow. It was not oriented
like normal rainbow, but was horizontal. The circle's center was
above his head. With blue color inside the circle.

This phenomenon is under investigation by a physicist. Things
look to be in pretty good shape there too.

We found that spider thread is the most similar structure we
know, we would be very interested in any related information you
might have on similar phenomenoa. If this might be a chemical
effect, some hints on it's nature might help our researchers in
their testing.

What we are studying may differ to what is reported in your web
pages, but it would be a good help learn how to spot the
difference between these phenomena. And if some spiders are
behind some 'Angel Hair' cases, it would be good if we can
clearly identify those cases.

Any info would be welcome.
