Actually, the barn issue (as mentioned in relation to the AA
"film") relates more to what you might find in the Socorro area,
rather than Roswell.  More specifically, what you might find in
the area west of Socorro.  I drove through that area in 1996 to
see the alleged site that Hesseman had identified as the one
that the "cameraman" had described. However, like the rest of
Ray's story, this facet of the tale didn't make a whole lot of
sense either.

No, there are no barns in the immediate area that Hesseman has
pinpointed. Yes, there are a few structures that might be called
"barns" on many of the ranches in that region, but I guess that
depends on how you want to define "barn".  That part of New
Mexico was probably more economically tied to mining than it was
to ranching, except along the Rio Grande river, which is just
east of Socorro.

Oh, and before anyone asks, beer was readily available in
Socorro as well. But then again, it's (in part) a college town.
