I hope not. Whatever Ed Walters may or may not be, he is not a
wacko, total or otherwise. If the author of the book on which
Bruce Maccabee is commenting is not a wacko, he's a satirist or
a cynical exploiter of popular paranoia.  If I were a betting
man, I'd put my money on the first of these.
