While I believe the views expressed are attempting to describe
events that are far more complex than implied, the basic
concepts are ones that should be considered.  IMO, society has
always tended to view itself and the world around it through a
"filter" of its own making.

The problem is that the truth will always fall somewhere between
"The Government/Media is always lying" and "The Government/Media
always tells the truth", and it then becomes our own beliefs
that define where we believe the truth lies.

Even the list you provided contains what I believe to be
exaggerations of the facts, with a certain amount of rhetoric
thrown in, but the general point that one can't blindly trust
the Government or the Media is IMO true.

I would add that from the perspective of many abductees, it's
perhaps not just the Government and Media that one can't trust,
but the "reality" we perceive around us as well.
