I have never been an expert in this field, however, I have kept up with the developments in general since it runs somewhat parallel and at times overlaps some of my UFO sighting and abduction research. The following three theories have been in the back of my subconscious for some years. Theory 1: There must be something so darn important that NASA does not want us to see that they have their best and finest combination image scientists and graphic artists working full time on incoming pictures so as to keep us from discovering anything. Anti Theory 1: However, if there is so much at stake and it takes so many man hours for theory 1 to be in place, why not just say: CLASSIFIED. Don't show any of the images. Keep the public eye off of them. After all, even with the finest people working on the images to mask this important data, there is still a chance of mistakes *AND* the fact that there could be a leak that would A) Damage NASA's reputation and B) Leak the important information. If the information was kept under wraps then leakage could be dismissed as the product of over active crackpot imaginations. Theory 2: All these anomalies we're seeing are just natural things on the surface of mars. Since the atmosphere, geology and general characteristics of mars is very different from the earth, things that look to us to be anomalous ON THE EARTH may not be anomalous on mars. Don't get me wrong, I think they certainly look anomalous, however, it seems that after enough anomalous findings come out, they aren't anomalies anymore. Anti Theory 2: There just seems to be too much stuff that doesn't make sense for it all to be just natural windblown and seismic generated artifacts. Theory 3: Its a combination of both T1 and T2. If there was enough information in these images that were "threatening", I think NASA would just shut off the archive and forget about it. However, if there were just a few *AND* there was a situation where there were some anomalous looking natural phenomena, they'd do it just like they are. Modify a few, leave a few and just try to confuse us with a little mix of truth and disinformation. Anti Theory 3: It may be that theory 1 is more truth than we think if NASA thinks they're smart enough and the general public is A) dumb enough and B) trusting enough that they can just pull any kind of hacking/cover up/disinformation campaign they want without us ever knowing. After all, most of the general public thinks the other part of the general public are crackpots when they ask hard questions about what is REALLY going on. Am I making any sense or do I sound like just another crackpot in the mix? -NR (http://www.ufo.net)
