As I was replying to your clearly expressed personal opinions
put out for public debate over your own name it is not
surprising that your name cropped up quite a lot in my reply -
once a paragraph does not seem excessive to me.

It's too often the case in ufological debate that any critical
comment addressed to a publicly stated opinion seems to be
regarded as an "ad hominem" attack. Anybody reading my comments
would see clearly that I was not "going after" John Velez
personally - I don't know anything about him to "go after" - but
that I was attempting to challenge some of his arbitrary and
dogmatic statements on what did or did not constitute a valid
abduction experience.

I have found frequently in the past that "foaming at the mouth"
about alleged vicious personal attacks is a good way of ending
debates when one of the parties involved needs a quick getaway.
