A couple of corrections which somehow slipped through the
Clark/Bruce-Knapp filter:

In my previous posting, I referred to the CIA employee/ Soviet
spy "Aldrich."  Aldrich, of course, is his first name, even if
it sounds like a last name.  I should have called him Ames,
which is this misbegotten soul's last name.

Second, possibly some readers may have thought I was saying
anti-Semitism is "much in evidence," as I put it, in Don Allen's
expressed views.  I plead imprecise writing.  My meaning was
that anti-Americanism is a vocal part of Mr. Allen's worldview.
America has now become the Great Satan of conspiracy theory, as
followers of flat-earth political geography are aware.

Anyway, I apologize to all of you and to Mr. Allen in particular
for not quite getting my words right.
