The first prime indicator will be a rather large signal level. This is the fourth item down on "Data Analysis". My computer has finished 4 blocks of data and the noise range seems to be from about 110 to 180. A good signal would be much larger than this. Of course, that does not mean you found ET. It could be Entertainment Tonight, or some other terrestrial signal. :-) Another indication would be that you would see a "bump" instead of all the small spikes in the frequency domain (that's the horizontal axis). Noise consists of very narrow bits of energy. These are the "rectangles" that the graphics program is building on your screen. A good signal will have a lot of large "rectangles" side-by-side.
