Indeed, that topic had a run here a few months ago. Interesting
debate about what can and can't be done from space.

However, as I've pointed out before, the phenomenon has a myriad
of aspects that goes far beyond the designs, for anyone willing
to look past the media for their information, such as to the
actual folks doing the research, and the various books and
articles they've published. The list of bizarre effects to the
plants and the immediate environment is extensive, and is
deserving of study and debate, not out of hand dismissal as the
work of hoaxers.

I submit you are ignorant of these effects, or intentionally
excluded them from your post.
