Not the humans, but possibly natural affects of the crop being
flattened. That's why it's imperative for a known man-made
circle to be tested as a control sample, and not just one at that.
Various circles in different crop at different periods during
growth would give abse readings.

Why should I be kidding? How on earth can you expect to know
what anaomalous affects can be found in a so called genuine
formation if you don't know what natural affects there are in a
known man-made formation?

You expect untouched crop to grow identically to flattened crop?
You really can't compare the two, for a comparison you certainly
need the environment for the samples to be identical as
possible. That would include flattening some crop outside the
formation, but as close to it as possible and test the two
samples, taking into consideration the time lapse between when
each was flattened.

What I'm suggesting would help get nearer to the truth, not muddy
anything.
