Bill mentions in his report a case I followed up in Bolton, Lancashire, featuring a very similar entity. I should add that extremely blonde haired (near white) Nordics are the norm in UK cases pre the Strieber explosion of l987. There are other entities of this sort in my records and the lack of awareness amongst the general public is a factor as movies and TV always portray aliens as grays, or at least 'little men'. So if you want to invent an alien it surely would not be of this unexpected type. It also brings to mind the 1958 case of Cynthia Appleton where the entities were again tall Nordics with Oriental features. Indeed they arrived in two ways. During the first visit via a pyrotechnic explosion of light (akin to the mystical appearance and disappearance often displayed by these Nordics) (Jessie Roestenberg - witness to the UKs first major CE 3 - again blonde haired Nordics at Ranton, Staffs, in l954 - told me she did not believe a word of modern abductions because her entities did not fly but appeared and disappeared like the entities Peter Khoury reported and because - her precise words - 'Ive seen em and they are humans not little grey things'). Back to Cynthia Appleton. Her later visits came via the Nordics arriving in earth clothes and driving a car! They engaged in what is one of the first -if not the first - documented 'alien baby' saga (this was on record in l958 and Cynthia gave birth to the child in May l959). The entities documented in advance (and these were put on public record in advance) the birth characteristics of the child - telling her it would be human, her husband was the father but the baby was of the alien race - inferring it had mixed DNA. In those days DNA was unknown and the ability to predict a birth date, let alone physical features (blond hair and blue eyes by the way), were science fiction. It is only 40 years on this case sounds credible. (see my IUR article -'A visitor from Gharnasvarn') Another feature of the Appleton case is that on one visit a piece of alien skin was left behind. This was thin and translucent. The investigator, Dr John Dale, arranged for a study by then new electron microscope at Manchester University. Years later he showed me the results - which were never published as part of the deal with the scientists involved. The outcome was that the skin had human like character but was not human. Its closest comparison was pig skin but it was not this either. However, it was not obviously extraterrestrial and far more human than not. Indeed is not pig DNA now considered compatible enough with human for some kind of skin grafting experiments? DNA testing on it would have been more than interesting to see if this was in fact actually just a very rare type of human skin. That these cases weave such a fascinating pattern despite being separated by decades and 10,000 miles is strong evidence of something important going on. Incidentally, I have tried very hard to find the child born to the alien experiment in l959. I have his name (I have deliberately misreported this in my published accounts) and birth details and he would now be 40. I have sought him in various ways and if anyone out there has any suggestions to offer as to a means to try to locate someone I'd be grateful. I think some researchers who might be happy with this news are those (like myself) with a sneaking liking for the time travel hypothesis. Jim Penniston - witness to the Rendlesham Forest saga - says that he was told the 'aliens' are humans from our own future returning through time to extract DNA to try to ensure the survival of their moribund future race. They do this by mix and match sampling. One can envisage a future earth dominated by Asiatics rather more readily than aliens with Asiatic characteristics. Well, at least I can. Jenny Randles
