The Metric system is the measurement of science has been
literally for centuries-No body of science like NASA would use
the english system in planetary navigation . I have a friend who
used to work for JPL, on the Mariner Missions and Surveyor Moon
Missions.

If I can track him down, (The Salmon are running - it may be a
few days) I'll bet he confirms that this is, at best, the
Ruptured Duck of Excuses-worse than lame.
