In addition, anyone interested in whether or not UFOs actually
spin should have a close look at the Moreland case from 1959.

This close observation provides many interesting details in a
clearly witnessed, close range observation.

Obviously, these cases still leave room for observations of
"spin", but as Richard Haines [Observing UFOS, 1980] pointed
out, observation of spin requires a specific reference marking
on the surface in question.

In cases like the two cited above, the reason for the apparent
"revolving" motion of luminous sources remains unknown, and no
correlations with anything other than behavior have been found.
