UFO CAUSES COMMOTION IN NORTE GRANDE

CALAMA - The appearance of a strange luminous object caused a
commotion in several communities of the Second Region. A strong
blast and the power of the vehicle's lights have caused physical
distress in some witnesses.

The undentified flying object (UFO) was detected last Thursday
at around 22:00 hours, according to residents of Chiu-Chiu, a
location some 40 kilometers away from Calama.

Local residents claimed that the luminous object, very bright,
gave off flashes of different colors and came close to the
town's shcool.

Hanging in mid-air, the device cast its light upon a female
student and a staff worker for some three minutes. A sudden
flash turned nighttime into day. The woman and the girl are
reporting sensations of dizzyness and intense pain in their
eyes.

The event was corroborated by at least half a dozen witnesses.
