From: Gene Huff Date: 3 April 1994 4 or 5 years ago we were at the Little A le Inn for one reason or another and Morton was there. At this point in time he claimed he was a screenwriter. He asked Bob about getting together with him to write a screenplay. Bob told him he wasn't interested in anything like that. Now to clarify this, Morton walked up to Bob like an autograph hound, this wasn't an interview. Bob blew him off. Later Morton came and talked to me. He gave me the same screenwriter story. We had already cut that old movie deal with Guber-Peters and I was honest and told him that it was ongoing. Morton told me Bob just blew him off and told him he wasn't interested in those things, and thus, Morton was surprised by what I was telling him. He acted as though Bob was rude by not taking the time to explain his personal dealings to Morton. Later Morton was running around begging everyone to have their picture taken with him. Again, Morton was acting like a UFO groupie, not the "world's foremost UFO authority" with a Ph.D. in theology.
