The Sun Sets On An Earlier Geology

The second image of the Dramatic Rust series, this was based on the scene created for "Geologic Technology".

For this image, the light array is not present, allowing the sunset shadows to be harsh on the rock. The sky is a more overcast stratus layer with some complexity added from the basic sky. No cloud shadows are cast, and the sun has a lemon cast to its light.
