Dramatic Rust

One of the virtues of computer graphics is the ability to have many alternative versions of the same image. This new piece takes the idea to an extreme, with several equally valid versions.

	When It Rains This is the final image in the series - and, in many ways, the most complex - clouds at ground level, virga in the distance, the artifact as wet stone, droplets running off the artifact, and raindrops.
	The Last Ray Of Sun A vastly eroded version of "An Earlier Geology", this features a volume light that represents a lone sunbeam escaping the clouds.
	The Sun Sets On An Earlier Geology The sun is low and yellowish, offering a rich color and texture to the rock that is much like my favorite Connecticut cliffs at sunset.
	Geologic Technology The original "complete" image of the series, this reveals an ancient artifact, turned to stone and cracked, slowly eroding from sandstone on the artificial but ancient stone steps of some strange formation.
