Collections Of UFO Cases

Given the large number of UFO cases dispersed in files across the world, the activity of cataloging is particularly important. Catalogs group cases together based on various aspects of the cases involved. In most cases, only summaries of cases are provided.

Many of the catalogs at this site are extracted from a core database of sightings when the request is made. Thus, any case in the catalogs are also accessible by a specific query to The Temporal Doorway UFO Database. This site extends the typical catalog by providing links from catalog entries to more complete documentation of the case.

• The Temporal Doorway UFO Database - includes the Project 1947 EM Effects catalog and Jacques Vallee's Magonia catalog.

• Chronologically Ordered Selected Cases Of Interest (converted to use database 7/12/99) - these are cases I have found particularly interesting over the years, or which have attained significant public attention.

• A Catalog Of Evidential Cases (converted to use database 8/98) - selected based on specific criteria as offering excellent evidence for the objective existence of UFOs.

• A Catalog Of Correlated Sightings (converted to use database 8/98) - sightings which may be of the same object or object type .

• The Measurements and Calculations Catalog - contains a summary of cases where physical parameters of object or object behavior have been derived, and identifies relevant experimental science. (3/26/98)

• The Project 1947 Electromagnetic Effects from UFOs Sighting Catalog (Database updated 2/2000)- contains summaries of several hundred cases where UFOs have affected power sources, vehicle and aircraft systems, television /radio broadcast and reception, and powerplants or caused electrostatic phenomena experienced by witnesses.

• The BUFORA Vehicle Interference Catalog (Completed 2/2000) - created by the British UFO Research Association in 1979 and is part of the Project 1947 EM Effects Catalog.

• The CUFOS Vehicle Interference Catalog (In progress, started 4/2000) - created by the Center for UFO Studies in 1981 and is part of the Project 1947 EM Effects Catalog. Please purchase a CD of the original catalog and the Ted Phillips Physical Effects Catalog from CUFOS.

• Jacques Vallee's Magonia catalog comprises 900 close encounter and UFO landing cases from between 1868 and 1968.

• Keith Basterfield's Australian Entity Case Catalog contains a wide variety of entity sightings from his large and varied continent.

• A Catalog Of Known Invalid UFO Events including famous cases which are hoaxes or which have been identified as known objects or events.
